The School of Accounting held the 2024 "Gold Medal Lecturer" Selection and Teacher Teaching Innovation Competition

    On the afternoon of October 9, the School of Accounting held the 2024 "Gold Medal Lecturer" Selection and Teacher Teaching Innovation Competition in the Hengrui Lecture Hall. The competition was hosted by Professor Guan Kaolei, Vice Dean of the School of Accounting. Professor Di Guoqiang, the leader of the school's supervision team, Professor Zhang Chunhua, supervisor, Hu Delong, deputy director of the Academic Affairs Office, XiongLingyun, vice dean of the School of Accounting, and Professor Cheng Shuzhen, former director of the Department of Accounting, attended and served as judges.

 

    ​A total of 8 teachers from the college participated in this competition, which was divided into four groups: the senior group, the deputy senior group, the lecturer group and the ideological and political group. At the competition site, the participating teachers fully demonstrated the teaching style and innovative achievements of the teachers of the New Era Accounting College. With exquisite teaching design, innovative teaching methods and profound professional literacy, they have launched a fierce competition and set a model for improving the quality of teaching.

 

   In the expert comment session, the judges made in-depth comments and guidance on the performance of the participating teachers. Deputy Director Hu Delong emphasized the importance of the logical chain and suggested that teachers should clarify the goal orientation and problem orientation when writing reports and making reports, highlight one or two points of real innovation, and focus on showing the substantial improvement obtained by students through teaching innovation. Vice President XiongLingyun reminded teachers to improve the status of the competition, explore the innovation points of the course and strengthen the display of results. Professor Cheng Shuzhen suggested that teachers follow the report paradigm, strengthen supporting materials, and clarify the logical thinking of the curriculum. Professor Zhang Chunhua encouraged teachers to adjust the order of textbooks and reconstruct the teaching content by understanding students' logical ideas. Finally, Professor Di Guoqiang put forward six valuable suggestions for teachers for the upcoming school competition: follow the reporting paradigm and ensure that the problem-driven is student-centered; innovative measures need to closely target existing problems; the performance display should highlight the growth of students; curriculum ideas and politics need to be naturally integrated into teaching content; pay attention to external performance; Make sure that the content is refined and powerful.
