At 10 a.m. on November 16, at the invitation of our school of accounting, Professor Ye Dezhu of the Department of finance, School of economics, Jinan University made a report meeting entitled experience sharing of submission of authoritative papers and application for national projects” in a conference room. This report meeting was presided over by our professor Zhou Donghua, the vice president of the school of accounting. Teachers and students of the school of accounting and some teachers from other schools listened to thelecture.
The professor combined with his own experience to show the teachers and students how to improve the success rate of authoritative paper submission and national project application. First of all, for the topic selection of the thesis and topic, Professor Ye thought that the good topic is more useful than the technical operation, and the topic needs to be novel, which can attract the attention of reviewers.Secondly, in order to improve the level of thesis, Professor Ye suggested that students should often be presented at the conference, the format of papers should be modified before submission, and there should be no wrong words. For teachers and students who want to submit to authoritative foreign journals, they can consider looking for good foreignpartners;Then，for fund declaration, Professor Ye believes that the topic selection is best problem-based rather than technology-based, so as to make the layman feel meaningful.Professor Ye added that it is necessary to choose the right direction of application and determine its own application according to the previous fundinginformation.
At last, Professor Ye replied to the questions raised by the teachers and students one by one, which made us gain a lot.Vice President Zhou Donghua once again thanked Professor Ye for taking the time to give lectures in the school of accounting, and expressed his welcome to the scholars from famous universities to participate in academic exchanges in ourschool.

He graduated from Zhongshan University with a doctorate in management, now is a professor and doctoral supervisor of the Department of finance, School of economics, Jinan University, and an outstanding young scholar of Jinan University (the first level).
